Gotu Kola
Gotu kola (Centella asiatica), also known as Indian pennywort, is a creeping plant native to tropical and subtropical regions. It has been used for millennia in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese medicine and is considered one of the most important plants in those traditions. Gotu kola favours moist habitats and is not related to the kola nut — despite the similar name. Characteristic constituents include triterpenoid saponins, notably asiaticoside and madecassoside.
