Wheat germ oil
Wheat germ oil is obtained from the germ of the wheat kernel and is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin E. About one tonne of wheat germ is required to produce one litre of oil, which makes the oil particularly valuable.
The golden-yellow oil has an intense, cereal-like flavour and should not be heated because of its delicate fatty acids. It is excellent for salads, muesli or as a dietary supplement, and is also prized in skincare.
