Coconut oil
Coconut oil is obtained from the flesh of the coconut. It consists predominantly of saturated fatty acids, including medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). At room temperature it is solid.
Coconut oil is heat-stable and therefore well suited to frying and baking. It is also used in personal care.
