Black seed oil
Black seed oil is obtained from the seeds of black cumin (Nigella sativa), a plant of the buttercup family. Not to be confused with caraway or cumin – despite the similar name, the plants are not related. Black seed oil has a long tradition in Oriental and Ayurvedic use and contains, among other things, thymoquinone as well as essential fatty acids.
UNIMEDICA offers black seed oil in two varieties: unfiltered black seed oil still contains natural suspended particles and sediment and has a stronger flavour, while filtered oil is clearer and milder in aroma.
