Cedar nut oil
Cedar nut oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Siberian cedar (Pinus sibirica), which is native to the forests of Siberia. It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid and pinolenic acid — a fatty acid found almost exclusively in pine seeds. In Siberian folk medicine, cedar nut oil has been valued as a nutritious food for centuries. Its mild, slightly nutty flavour is particularly suited to cold dishes.
