Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) grows as a parasite on birch trees in the cool regions of Northern Europe, Siberia and North America. It contains polysaccharides, melanin and triterpenes.
In Russian and Baltic folk medicine, chaga is traditionally prepared as a tea.
