The internationally renowned homeopath and academic Dr Robin Murphy passed away on 18 November 2021.

In 1993 he published his work Clinical Repertory of Homeopathy, followed in 1996 by the Clinical Materia Medica. In 2021 his MetaRepertory appeared in its 4th edition. Dr Robin Murphy was not only a successful specialist author but also director of the Hahnemann Academy of North America, which promotes education and training in homeopathy and naturopathy.

Robin Murphy was born on 15 August 1950 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor he came across their collection of homeopathic writings and was fascinated by the medical system described there.

In 1976 he was admitted to the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) as a Hahnemann scholar. From 1980 to 1984 he headed the homeopathy training at the NCNM. He also lectured at Bastyr University.

Dr Murphy revised Samuel Hahnemann's 6th edition of the Organon of the Healing Art.

The MetaRepertory 4.0 was conceived as a complete revision and significant update of the 3rd edition of his Clinical Repertory of Homeopathy. The new MetaRepertory consists of 49 chapters, divided into three sections: Mind, Body and Clinical Repertory. The 49 chapters of the current edition were newly created from the 74 chapters of the 3rd edition of the work.

All available books by Dr Robin Murphy can be found here.
