Vitamin C tablets from Unimedica contain 1000 mg vitamin C per high-dose tablet. A daily dose (1 tablet) covers the daily needs of an adult (corresponding to the recommendation according to annex 13 Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 (LMIV) on vitamin C with 1250%. The vitamin C in Unimedica vitamin C tablets is L-ascorbic acid, the only bioactive form of ascorbic acid. As an alternative to the large 1000 mg tablets, easier-to-swallow 500 mg capsules with buffered vitamin C are also available from Unimedica.

Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins because it is involved in so many bodily processes. It cannot be made by the body and cannot be stored. Therefore a sufficient intake of vitamin C in food is important.

Vegan and without the following additives

Vitamin C from Unimedica is free of flavouring, colouring, stabilisers and magnesium stearate and other undesirable additives. It is GM-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, gelatine-free and vegan.

Push the defence!
We used Unimedica's acerola powder for a long time, which is also a very good product. However, due to the pandemic, I wanted to increase our vitamin C supply a little and therefore ordered the high-dose vitamin C tablets from Unimedica this year. I have the feeling that these vitamin C tablets are even more effective. Every time I had the feeling this winter that a cold was coming on or that I already had a slight sore throat, I took another tablet in the afternoon or evening - and what can I say: somehow the cold attack was gone the next day. Neither my husband nor I have had a cold or anything similar since I started taking them. The capsules are a bit large, but we simply break through them to take them. We find that the vitamin C tablets from Unimedica are also very well tolerated by the stomach, which is not the case with all vitamin C supplements. We have also been using Unimedica's OPC capsules and vitamin D-K drops for a long time. We are extremely satisfied, and Unimedica's products are also much cheaper than the Robert Franz products we used before.

Loss of odour
In December 2021, I tested positive for coronavirus and had a complete loss of sense of smell. I regularly take vitamins and trace elements from Narayana. My skin has improved
I have been taking the vitamin C together with MSM since the beginning of the year and it has helped to improve my blemished facial skin. My dark circles under my eyes have also diminished, although they are still there but are no longer so dark. My nails also became stronger and my hair loss decreased. I feel the same way, as does my colleague. We are both alternative medicine practitioners and swallow pretty much everything that's available. But I've never had anything like this. It sticks in the throat and the acidity of the tablet doesn't really improve the condition. I'm still fighting my way through it, I'm sure it's really effective. Maybe I'll figure out the trick!

Took vitamin C during Corona time zero problems with Corona
I took vitamin C while we had Corona, hardly noticed Corona. Only tested positive and a little tired for about 2 hours. Also took other products such as vitamin D3 and K2. What to do with the ratings
We previously purchased our products from a competitor, bought our vitamin C at Aldi and were very satisfied. Unfortunately, vitamin C has not been available for some time, which is why we decided to buy our products from Unimedica. I'm a little surprised that with 42 reviews from 1 to 4* and a total of 204 people, there was no feedback on the tablet shape and size. I have now injured my oesophagus due to the shape of the tablet and am certainly not inexperienced. Lots of energy

the shape of the tablet does not work at all
I am otherwise satisfied with the products. I created an extra customer account to rate this tablet. I usually have no problem at all with swallowing tablets. But what were you thinking??? You can't swallow them at all!!!! You get nausea and it sticks, it doesn't work at all. I'm trying to get them all out of the tin but I definitely won't be buying them again!!!!
