Liposomal Vitamin C - 1,000 mg per daily dose (10 ml) - 250 ml
Liposomal Vitamin C from Unimedica is high-dose, providing 1,000 mg of vitamin C per daily dose. By enclosing the vitamin C in liposomes, it can be transported through the body more effectively. Vitamin C contributes, among other things, to the normal functioning of the immune system and to improved iron absorption. As the body can neither produce nor store vitamin C, an adequate intake through the diet is important. Just 10 ml of Liposomal Vitamin C from Unimedica covers an adult's daily requirement for vitamin C by 1,250%.

Description
New formulation
Liposomal Vitamin C from Unimedica stands out due to its more efficient mode of action compared with other vitamin C preparations. Its special formulation allows it to be particularly well utilised by the body. In addition, as a liquid it is pleasant and easy to take. With our new formulation we have switched to natural preservation using plant-based glycerin and rosemary extract, which makes the product even more stable and optimises the flavour.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) supports the immune system and our nervous system, protects our cells, contributes to healthy bones, skin and teeth, gums and blood vessels, and helps ensure we have sufficient energy and are less prone to fatigue.
What are the benefits of liposomal vitamin C?
The difference between conventional vitamin C supplements and liposomal vitamin C lies in the formula. Liposomal means: small lipid bubbles surround the vitamin C and only release it on contact with the cell membrane. Lipids are water-repellent. They are made from plant-based fatty acids (phospholipids). For this we use phospholipids from sunflower lecithin. These lipid vesicles protect the active ingredient on its way to the cell. This allows it to act efficiently where it is needed. It extends the time the water-soluble vitamin remains in the body and ensures easier absorption and distribution throughout the body.
Why is vitamin C so important?
Vitamin C is for good reason the vitamin that everyone knows. It is involved in many processes in the body and fulfils numerous important functions. For example, it improves iron absorption and contributes to normal collagen formation. Collagen is an important structural protein that is essential for the normal function of skin, cartilage, bones, teeth, gums and blood vessels. Vitamin C neutralises damaging reactions with reactive oxygen species produced during metabolic processes, helps boost our immune defences and stimulates energy production in the cells.
Vitamin C is also in citrus fruits, isn't it?
Exactly. Citrus fruits such as lemons, oranges and grapefruit, but also berries, sweet potatoes, peppers, acerola and many other fruits and vegetables contain vitamin C.
Why is supplementation with vitamin C still useful?
Because vitamin C is water-soluble, it cannot be stored in the body. The body always only takes the amount from food that it currently needs and excretes the rest unused. You would therefore have to take vitamin C several times a day so that it can work evenly in the body. Apart from that, modern farming methods, long transport and storage times and heat also cause the vitamin C content of foods to decline. It is common, for example, for citrus fruits to be harvested unripe and then stored and allowed to ripen for a long time after their long journey to our cooler latitudes.
For an efficient supply of vitamin C
Our Liposomal Vitamin C has a standardised vitamin C content of 1000 mg per daily dose. It extends the time the valuable nutrient remains in the body and optimises its bioavailability. Especially in times of increased need, supplementing a balanced diet with Unimedica Liposomal Vitamin C is therefore a sensible option. A daily dose (10 ml) of Liposomal Vitamin C covers 1,250% of the recommended daily requirement.
