Which functions glutathione performs in the body

What is Liposomal L-Glutathione?
Glutathione is produced by the body from the amino acids glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine and is involved in many metabolic processes.
Glutathione oxidises quickly — especially in its reduced form. To ensure it only oxidises within the cells, the glutathione molecules in L-Glutathione Plus by Unimedica are encapsulated in liposomes on their way into the cells, protecting them from acids and enzymes in the stomach and intestines. In addition, vitamin C helps to keep the L‑glutathione active.
