L-glutathione capsules from Unimedica contain 300 mg L-glutathione per capsule in its reduced, active form, as found in the body. It is produced naturally from plant-based fermentation. Reduced L-glutathione is the bioactive form, as produced by the body itself. Therefore L-glutathione capsules from Unimedica are easily absorbed.
Glutathione is formed in the body from the amino acids glutamate, glycine and cysteine. Protein-rich nutrition together with various vitamins and minerals stimulates the body to make glutathione.
From the mid-forties the ability to synthesize the sulphurous tripeptides diminishes. Stress, environmental pollution, illness, inflammation or one-sided nutrition can lead to an increased need for glutathione in the cells. Glutathione is present in all cells and plays a role in cellular metabolism.
Each bottle of L-glutathione capsules from Unimedica contains 60 capsules. This corresponds to a 2-month supply.

L-glutathione capsules from Unimedica are free of additives such as colouring, stabilisers, preservatives and separating agents such as magnesium stearate; they are also GMO-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.
