ORGANIC wheatgerm from Unimedica comes from strictly certified organic cultivation in the EU. The wheatgerm is found at the top of the wheat grain – it is the seed of the wheat plant. This tiny part of the wheat grain contains the most nutrition of this cereal. The wheatgerm is removed by grinding the wheat grains. The wheatgerm is oily and would otherwise cause the flour to quickly go rancid.
