What do all these nutrients add to our daily nutrition?
To supply the body with sufficient daily nutrients, a balanced wholefood diet with much fresh fruit and vegetable is essential. The diet should include the entire colour spectrum of plant-based nutrient sources. So we should aim to eat two servings of fruit and three of vegetables in all the colours of the rainbow, e.g. lemon, orange, red and yellow peppers, carrots, cucumber, green leafy vegetables such as spinach and cabbage, kohlrabi, aubergine, beetroot, grapes, apples, bananas, pears, berries …
