Copper
Copper is an essential trace element involved in many enzymatic reactions. It contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue, to normal energy metabolism and to the normal function of the nervous system.
Copper also supports the normal immune system, normal skin pigmentation and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Good sources of copper are offal, nuts, wholegrain products and pulses.
