Manganese
Manganese is a trace element required as a cofactor for various enzymes. It contributes to normal energy metabolism, to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal connective tissue formation.
Manganese also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Good dietary sources include wholegrain products, nuts, legumes, tea and green leafy vegetables.
