What is MSM plus Acerola?
MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane, an organic sulphur compound found in plants and especially in animals, and therefore also in food. MSM plays an important role in various bodily functions. This organic sulphur is present in some amino acids from which the body's own proteins are formed. These proteins are in turn the building blocks for numerous tissues and bodily substances such as collagen.
Acerola, on the other hand, is a shrub from the Malpighiaceae family whose red, cherry-like fruits contain a lot of natural vitamin C. They originate from South and Central America. The acerola extract used for these tablets is particularly valuable because, unlike synthetic vitamin C, it also contains other important nutrients from the whole fruit as they occur naturally in their optimal combination. Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins, as it supports many body functions, including the maintenance of normal bones.
