What is MSM plus Acerola?
MSM is methylsulfonylmethane, an organic sulphur compound found in plants and, especially, in animals and therefore in food. MSM plays an important role in various bodily functions. This organic sulphur is present in some amino acids from which the body's own proteins are formed. These proteins are, in turn, the building blocks for numerous tissues and bodily substances such as collagen.
Acerola, on the other hand, is a shrub of the Malpighiaceae family whose red, cherry-like fruits contain high levels of natural vitamin C. They originate from South and Central America. The acerola extract used in these tablets is particularly valuable because, unlike synthetic vitamin C, it also contains other important nutrients from the whole fruit, as they occur naturally in their optimal combination.
