Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil (EVLCO) is a fresh, cold‑processed, traditional and handcrafted cod liver oil product from Norway. EVLCO is produced using a centuries‑old method of the Viking druids.
The aim of Rosita Real Foods is to produce a cod liver oil whose nutrient content is as close as possible to that of living cod livers. Furthermore, Rosita seeks to honour this centuries‑old natural product with consistent purity, wisdom, freshness and wild ingredients, as used by the Viking forebears. At Rosita Real Foods there is great passion and conviction for quality, which is reflected in the precise way they practise their craft and in the extensive analyses they have carried out on this product.
No imported livers are used in the production of EVLCO. The only quality that meets their expectations is that of freshly and sustainably caught cod (Gadus morhua) from the Atlantic Ocean. To be precise, cod from the deep, unspoilt waters off the coast of Lofoten, Norway.
