The manufacturer states:

Blue Ice Royal Gel Regular contains 2/3 Blue Ice fermented cod liver oil and 1/3 High Vitamin butter oil. Green Pasture produces the cod liver oil from cod livers, which are fermented using a traditional production method and with great care. The butter oil is obtained by extraction and centrifugation from cow's milk. The manufacturing process is completely natural and without synthetic additives. Furthermore, the raw materials are not treated with high temperatures or chemicals, so that hardly any active substances are lost. The result is a complex end product containing various vitamins and nutrients.

The product contains naturally occurring vitamins A and D. The vitamin concentrations are approximate; because only natural products are used, they can vary depending on the season or production batch.

Benefits of Blue Ice cod liver oil gel:

  • This product combines cod liver oil and butter oil for an optimal composition.
  • The traditional recipe uses fish livers that are fermented for up to six months.
  • The butter oil is derived from cow's milk.

Excellent for teeth
An excellent product of remarkable quality that I've been using for two years now. Since I've been taking it, I haven't had any dental problems. As soon as I feel any pain, I take a teaspoon or so for a few days and it disappears. Before that, having very bad teeth despite impeccable hygiene, I tried various methods that never worked (shark cartilage + cod liver oil in particular). I discovered this product after learning about Dr Weston A's studies, which showed that tooth decay is caused by nutritional imbalances. The only downside is that the taste and texture are not really pleasant, but that's also what guarantees the quality of the product. And I much prefer a product that's unpleasant but effective to all the m*rdes on the market, which are quite good but totally ineffective. The capsule version seems less effective to me, but that's based on my personal experience. I highly recommend it!

After a long search for the best cod liver oil, I decided on this one from Green pasture and I am simply delighted. We eat it every day during the winter months, including the children, and we quickly got used to the strong flavour. After unnecessary Vigantoletten for the little ones and later vitamin D oil, this is by far the most effective and natural alternative. When it's empty, my body notices within 3 days. Also perfect in combination with the butter oil concentrate.

I ordered this product some time ago because I learned from the book "Karies heilen" (Curing tooth decay) that even large cavities can be remineralised with the help of a healthy diet. The methods contained in the book are based on scientific research by Dr Weston A. Price. The author, Ramiel Nagel, recommends an intensive course of treatment for those with decayed teeth, including taking 1/2 teaspoon of Cod Liver Oil 2-3 times a day. As I have a decayed tooth myself, I wanted to see the scientific work for myself. I have been taking the product daily for about 4 weeks. I can't say much about its effectiveness yet. Perhaps the positive results will not be visible for several months. I am curious. However, I still give it 5 stars because I am generally satisfied with the fast delivery and the product itself (digestibility, packaging, etc.). I had to get used to the flavour of the oil a little, but after 2-3 weeks this was no longer a huge problem.

I'm giving it 3 stars because I'm still trying it out. In fact, I have small cavities (a small spot on the tooth with a stage one cavity and a slight groove) and I was certain that the product would work to eliminate them. I've been taking the recommended dose for 3 weeks, along with a natural base treatment (colloidal silver, pollen and royal jelly-based supplements, Manuka toothpaste, tongue scraper and even coconut oil). To reassure you, I brush my teeth 3 times for 3 minutes. If the cavity is caused by bacteria, cod liver oil may work on small cavities of the slight blackhead type. Good luck to you if you have a cavity, I will leave a new comment if possible after 2 months.

Toothache and teeth sensitive to cold
The oil has helped me a lot with my teeth. I have had toothache in several places for a few weeks and cold-sensitive teeth for 3 to 4 months. When I started using a teaspoon of the oil in the morning and evening, the sensitivity to cold immediately got much better and within 2 to 3 weeks the tooth enamel on all my teeth disappeared completely. We can't say anything about the effect yet. We'll have to wait for the next blood results. But to judge the taste of cod liver oil is really mean. Because of course it tastes awful. 😅 We store it in the fridge, so the daily portion is a bit solid and you can just swallow it without the oil spreading all over your mouth. My son (9) does this every day, so it's not sooooo bad. And his body probably really needs it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This product is of very good quality. I have been taking it for many years and have never had any problems with it. The fermentation process means it has a very long shelf life and you don't necessarily have to put it in the fridge. You have to get used to the flavour first, but this happens relatively quickly. You can also mix it with other foods so that you no longer notice the flavour. I have the impression that cod liver oil with butter oil helps against gum inflammation and tooth decay. However, it is not a panacea, so you should also reduce the amount of sugar you consume and limit it to one meal a day. You should also take magnesium and calcium. However, no artificial calcium, but preferably coral powder or wild herbs such as dandelion.

Very strong unpleasant odour and taste
Previously I had the capsules without butter oil. I thought my son would also take this "neutral" cod liver oil because he can't swallow the capsules yet. But I have to say that even I just can't get the gel down because of the very strong flavour and texture. I've tried it several times now, but it always makes me almost vomit. That's OK for cod liver oil, but why is this gel called "neutral"? Or what does that mean? Well, I'm going to switch back to the capsules because they are also very good for my teeth and gums. I had also hoped for this effect for my son. But I really imagined a neutral flavour to be something else. Otherwise everything at narayana is great: offer, dispatch, price etc.

For the description "Neutral" see A.C.'s answer. If you close your nose when swallowing (you can also hold your nose with your fingers), you won't taste anything at all. Incidentally, this works for all unpleasant flavours. After swallowing, if necessary, keep the nasal passages closed until you have rinsed with enough tea or milk. This product is really worth it. Another solution is to buy a capsule filler and fill the oil. I do this with the normal, cheap powder capsule filler and with a bit of practice it works quite well. It's much cheaper than buying ready-made capsules. Have fun and good health!

I also had to get used to it. After about 1 week I was ready ... I drink straight after micl. And the younger the children, the less inhibition there is. My daughter, who is 1 year old, doesn't even need a second drink and my daughter, who is 3 years old, simply drinks a sip of milk afterwards, even though she doesn't need it. I can see that on her face. She just imitates me ... the children really don't mind at all ... and if it's all a matter of getting used to it ... it's really worth the money ... we can also see improvements. We've been taking it for almost 4 months now.
