Finely ground crystal salt from Pakistan, also known as Himalayan salt, brings a mild salty flavour as a seasoning to any kitchen. With a grain size of 2 to 7 mm it is finely ground and therefore dissolves quickly. It is pleasant to use in the kitchen or for cosmetic salt baths and is easy to dose.
The pink natural salt supports a consciously natural diet and gives dishes that special something. The WHO-recommended intake for adults of 5 grams of salt per day should not be exceeded.

Unimedica finely ground crystal salt is completely natural, i.e. not chemically refined, and still retains the original composition and structure of a natural salt. The pink colour of the crystal salt from Pakistan is due to the mineral's slight iron content. It consists of 97 to 99% sodium chloride. Unlike ordinary table salt, crystal salt from Pakistan contains traces of other minerals and is untreated and free from additives such as iodine.
From the mountains north of the Himalayas
Our finely ground crystal salt is mined in the salt region around Punjab (Pakistan), 200 km north of the Himalayas, and packaged in Germany. Because of its origin it is often referred to as Himalayan salt. The mountain range of the salt-mining region forms the foothills, the first elevations of the Himalayan range.
