What is sulforaphane?
The mustard oil sulforaphane is a secondary plant compound produced by cruciferous plants such as broccoli and other brassicas to protect them from pests. It is particularly highly concentrated in germinating sprouts and is also present in mature broccoli.
Capsules from natural ingredients
For Unimedica's broccoli sprout extract capsules, fresh broccoli sprouts are gently extracted without heating them above 45°C, because sulforaphane is very heat-sensitive. Supplemented with turmeric extract and black pepper extract and encased in cellulose, this phytochemical combination unfolds its full natural botanical potency.

Vegan and free from the following additives
Vegan capsule shell made of pure plant-based cellulose (HPMC), free from carrageenan and PEG.
