Amino Tablets - 500 tablets of 1000 mg each - 18 essential (EAA), semi-essential (BCAA) and non-essential amino acids
Our vegan amino acid tablets contain a wide range of essential, semi-essential and non-essential amino acids. These micronutrients play an important role in our bodies. The body is unable to produce some of them at all, whilst it cannot produce others in sufficient quantities. Our amino acid tablets are designed to provide a diverse range of amino acids as a dietary supplement during periods of increased demand. It was important to us to avoid unnecessary additives and to spread the high amino acid dose over just a few tablets a day.

Containing a wide range of amino acids in a convenient tablet
Unimedica’s amino acid tablets provide a broad spectrum of amino acids. These include essential, semi-essential and non-essential amino acids. The amino acids are present in their free form. The body can utilise them immediately without any prior conversion. Our amino tablets support the daily basic intake of these essential nutrients for numerous important bodily functions.
Our amino tablets contain only what matters
Unimedica’s amino tablets provide 18 amino acids, encapsulated in cellulose. No unnecessary additives. Find out more below.
What role do amino acids play?
The body can produce some amino acids itself, whilst others must be obtained from food. These are known as essential amino acids. Amino acids are involved in numerous processes within the body. For example, the body uses protein-forming amino acids to produce proteins (protein compounds), which in turn serve as building blocks for our body and its functions. Each amino acid has its own specific role within the body.
Basic nutritional needs met through high-quality food
Amino acids are found in varying proportions in all protein-rich foods such as meat and poultry, fish (particularly salmon), milk and eggs. Plant-based sources are primarily pulses and nuts. Animal-based foods, soya products, hemp and chia seeds even contain all eight essential amino acids. This is why a balanced diet is important.
Why take amino acids?
The body cannot produce essential amino acids itself. These include isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan and valine. They must be obtained from food and are also used in the synthesis of non-essential amino acids.
Semi-essential amino acids are produced by the body only in small quantities and are supplemented through the diet. In cases of increased demand – for example, during stressful periods in life or when participating in competitive sport – or if a wholesome, balanced diet is temporarily unavailable, amino acid tablets can be used as a temporary supplement. However, they are no substitute for a balanced diet.
Why our amino tablets do NOT belong in pill boxes
We avoid all unnecessary additives in our amino tablets in order to offer you a product of the highest possible purity and quality. That is why, for example, we do not use the controversial magnesium stearate as a binding agent for our tablets. We also deliberately avoid using coatings, as some of the substances they contain are of concern. This means we forgo the benefits of easy swallowing and convenience in favour of higher quality. After all, our customers’ health is our top priority.
By avoiding these additives, the tablets may change their consistency when exposed to air or moisture. In other words, they may crumble or become mushy. This is normal for this raw material and does not affect the quality. To prevent this, these tablets should always be stored in a watertight container, protected from humidity and air. This is why our amino tablets are not suitable for storage in pill boxes, as these do not provide an airtight or watertight seal.
Why large tablets instead of capsules?
Due to the high daily dose, the tablets are relatively large. To take the same amount in capsule form, you would need to take at least 16 capsules a day. We thought: this is easier for our customers! Because the tablets can simply be halved. Some of our customers also chew the tablets or crush them into a coarse powder. This makes the amino tablets easy to swallow.
Each tin of Unimedica amino tablets contains 500 tablets. This is equivalent to a 2-month supply.

Unimedica’s amino tablets are, in accordance with legal requirements, free from preservatives and contain no additives such as colourings or stabilisers like magnesium stearate; they are also GMO-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.
