What is L-lysine?
L-lysine tablets from Unimedica contain the essential proteinogenic amino acid lysine in its natural L-form. Since the body cannot produce L-lysine itself, it must be obtained from the diet. L-lysine is found mainly in animal foods and legumes. However, in these it occurs only in bound form and not in its free form.
When does the body need more L-lysine?

L-lysine tablets from Unimedica are manufactured in Germany in tested and certified facilities. The L-lysine is produced by plant-based fermentation from maize without genetic engineering.
