Seit alters her wird aus den Zedernüssen das Öl hergestellt, es ist von heller Bernsteinfarbe und schmeckt angenehm nussartig. Was den Geschmack angeht, so kann sich das Zedernussöl problemlos mit den besten Sorten von Oliven- und Mandelölen messen. Daher ist dieses ökologisch reine Produkt aus der Gourmet-Küche nicht mehr wegzudenken. Selbstverständlich wird das Öl durch Kaltpressung gewonnen. Erhitzung tut dem Öl nicht gut, daher sollten Sie es nur für kalte bzw. leicht warme Speisen verwenden.
