Vita Biosa is a certified organic herbal fermented drink from Denmark, based on two of nature's greatest inventions: lactic acid bacteria and herbs. It contains seven different lactic acid bacterial cultures, organic acids and 19 carefully selected herbs. The unique blend of herbs, acids and bacteria gives Vita Biosa a fresh and pleasantly tangy flavour. Vita Biosa is a natural product, free from artificial preservatives, sugar, gluten and lactose. It is naturally preserved by a fermentation process in which the herbs and lactic acid bacteria are mixed with water and sugarcane molasses. The bacteria consume the sugar in the molasses and convert it into organic acids. The lactic acid gives Vita Biosa self-preserving properties. Once all the sugar in the molasses has been consumed, the fermentation process is complete and the product is sugar-free. The finished product then contains only extracts of the herbs, organic acids and lactic acid bacteria.

Recommended intake
The recommended amount is 20–30 ml per day. However, for the first few days we recommend starting with only 2–3 teaspoons per day to allow a gradual introduction. Vita Biosa can be taken undiluted or mixed with still water or juice. Vita Biosa is a food that can also be used in many ways in the kitchen.
Please do not mix it with hot drinks, as these may kill the lactic acid bacteria.

Shelf life after opening: 2 months in the fridge. Shake the bottle gently before use to distribute the sediment. Avoid direct sunlight. Pressure build-up and white flakes may occur. Tested in an accredited laboratory.
