Uniflorin Plus with a culture complex of 26 bacterial strains and organic inulin - 20 billion CFU per daily dose (2 capsules) - 180 enteric-coated capsules
More than one hundred trillion microbes live together in symbiosis in the human gut. This balance is very delicate. Uniflorin Plus is a probiotic complex of 26 bacterial strains that occur in a healthy gut. A daily dose (2 capsules) contains 20 billion colony-forming units. Uniflorin Plus contains, for example, bifidobacteria, lactobacilli, Lactococcus species and Enterococcus faecium. Lactic acid bacteria help create a favourable environment. The inulin included is a type of soluble fibre that has a prebiotic function.

Description
26 bacterial strains and organic inulin protected in an enteric-coated capsule
Uniflorin Plus von Unimedica contains 20 billion colony-forming units (CFU) per daily dose from 26 carefully selected bacterial strains. These bacteria reach the gut unharmed in enteric-coated, vegan capsules and are only released there. They are nourished with organic inulin, a dietary fibre made of long-chain fructose. Fructose, in turn, is simply fruit sugar as it occurs naturally in fruit and vegetables.
Which bacterial strains characterise Uniflorin Plus?
Uniflorin Plus comprises a broad spectrum of live bacterial cultures. The strains included comprise, among others, the spore-forming microbes Bacillus subtilis and Weizmannia coagulans, acid-producing bifidobacteria as well as lactobacilli and other bacterial strains.
Bifidobacteria are natural inhabitants of the human intestinal tract. They are particularly common in the colon and are present in the gut of infants shortly after birth, especially in breastfed babies.
Lactobacilli play a central role in the fermentation of many foods, such as yoghurt, sauerkraut, kefir and certain cheeses. Fermentation not only makes these foods more shelf-stable but also gives them unique flavour profiles. As components of fermented dairy products they help to process lactose.
Lactococcus species, in particular Lactococcus lactis, are mainly used in milk fermentation, for example in the production of cheese, yoghurt and other fermented dairy products.
Enterococcus faecium occurs naturally in the human intestinal tract and is also used in the fermentation of certain cheeses.
Similar to other lactic acid bacteria, Streptococcus salivarius subsp. thermophilus produces lactic acid, which lowers pH in foods and suppresses the growth of harmful bacteria. It helps to break down lactose in dairy products. In fermented dairy products Streptococcus thermophilus often works synergistically with other strains, such as Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, to optimise fermentation processes. It also promotes the nutrient density of fermented foods.
Which foods contain beneficial bacterial strains
Beneficial bacteria for the microbiome can be consumed via fermented foods such as kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut or yoghurt. In addition, a balanced, low-fat, low-sugar, high-fibre diet rich in fruit and vegetables, sufficient exercise outdoors, restorative sleep, healthy stress management and adequate fluid intake support the settlement and growth of beneficial bacteria.
The gut flora, also known as the gut microbiome, consists of a variety of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, that live in the digestive tract.
Each brown glass bottle of Uniflorin Plus von Unimedica contains 180 capsules. This corresponds to a 3-month supply.
