Produktinformationen

The herbaceous-spicy scent of the tea tree – captured in a pure natural essential oil

This pure natural tea tree essential oil is obtained by gentle steam distillation from the leaves of the Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). The process preserves the valuable constituents and the characteristic herb-fresh scent of the oil. Bottled in a 10 ml amber glass bottle, the quality of the light-sensitive oil is optimally preserved.

Just take a deep breath

Unimedica's tea tree oil consists of pure tea tree oil with no additives. The natural main components are terpenes, which are responsible for the oil's typical properties. It is regarded as cleansing and refreshing. When used as a room fragrance, tea tree oil can be experienced as refreshing and clarifying – especially at times when one longs for freshness and clear air.

Brings freshness to rooms and clothing

Tea tree oil can be used as a natural air freshener. Simply add a few drops to a diffuser and enjoy the oil's cleansing effect in the room air. It can also be used dropwise for laundry care and shoe hygiene and for household purposes. Care should always be taken to use the oil sparingly and only diluted.

The unique treasure of the Aboriginal people

The tea tree oil comes from Australia, where the tea tree is native. Melaleuca alternifolia belongs to the myrtle family and thrives in Australia's humid coastal regions. Its evergreen, needle-like leaves release an intense, fresh scent when crushed, reminiscent of eucalyptus. The Indigenous Australians, the Aborigines, have used the tea tree's leaves for centuries. They crushed the leaves to inhale the aromatic vapours, or applied them directly to the skin. They also bathed in waterholes where tea tree leaves had fallen – a natural, pleasantly scented bathing additive.

How the tea tree got its name by mistake

The name "tea tree" goes back to the British explorer James Cook, who landed with his crew on the east coast of Australia in 1770. They observed the Aboriginal people preparing a fragrant brew from the tree's leaves and assumed it was tea.

A versatile natural talent

In the 1920s the tea tree's essential oil was scientifically analysed for the first time. The Australian chemist Arthur Penfold recognised its potential and examined the aromatic compounds it contained. Since then, tea tree oil has enjoyed growing popularity – especially in household and room fragrance care. Its herb-fresh, spicy note makes it a valued ingredient in cleaning products, room fragrances and natural freshness applications.

Each bottle of Unimedica tea tree oil contains 10 ml of pure, natural tea tree essential oil.

Perfect for nail problems, rashes
I finally got rid of my nail psoriasis with this oil. This is an infestation of bacteria on the nails, which is similar to nail fungus, but cannot be removed with so-called anti-fungal products. Tea tree oil can also be used for all kinds of skin rashes and warts, it helps. I think it should be in every medicine cabinet.

Helps very well with rosacea
Years ago I used tea tree oil daily for my blemished rosacea skin and it always helped. In the last few years I somehow got lost in the product maze. Then in the last few months I had severe rosacea flare-ups and was very desperate and tea tree oil came back to my mind. I rub it into my skin on a cotton pad diluted with a little water. It works wonders against pustules and inflammation, but I still wear sun protection factor 50 during the day, as the sun is unfortunately a trigger for rosacea.

I would never have thought that tea tree oil could be so effective! - For nail bed and gum inflammation
I use the oil in two different problem areas: once in the mouth for gum inflammation (mouthwash), - and for nail bed inflammation (a few drops in a foot bath), but here in combination with other oils and baking soda. All inflammatory symptoms are gone for many hours afterwards! Simply great!!!

Pimple Destroyer
I have had blemished skin for a long time and then tried Unimedica's tea tree oil on recommendation. Whenever a pimple appears, I dab a drop of oil on it. It often prevents it from becoming inflamed and then receding.

Top product! like everything at Narayana
i had ordered the product because i had a stubborn skin fungus on my face (beard lichen!) and not even the common pharmaceutical product Canesten Forte had helped! i dissolved a few drops of incocos oil and treated the affected area after only one application and then everything was gone! it also smells good!!! You can also use this mixture of coconut oil + tea tree oil as a deodorant substitute, both kill bacteria and the tea tree oil also has a refreshing effect!

Smells strong but helps
Hi, I've had severe acne on my back for years and it works really well for me. It does have a strong odour and you shouldn't apply too much otherwise it burns, but the inflammation and redness have reduced relatively quickly for me. I can only recommend it.

I am satisfied with this oil, I often use it as a mouthwash, room fragrance or a few drops in the mop water. In summer it has also driven away ants. Good price.

Yeast fungus of the skin treated
As my husband has to take medication, his skin barrier is probably weakened. A yeast infection has spread to his scalp, beard and eyebrows. It's called Malassezia fungus, but I haven't had a diagnosis from a doctor, but the symptoms - redness, itching, greasy dandruff - are identical. Tea tree oil is recommended against fungal skin infections, dandruff, inflammation and also against itching. That's why I made a mixture with organic grapefruit seed extract and filtered water. To do this, I mixed approx. 70% GKE and 10 drops of tea tree oil in a 30 ml pharmacy bottle with a pipette and topped it up with filtered water. After shaving, apply a small amount to the cleansed skin, as well as to the eyebrows. Part the hair on the scalp and also apply a few drops and massage in gently. Even after the first application a great improvement was visible, the itching almost disappeared. Organic grapefruit seed extract is also effective against inflammation, parasites, bacteria, viruses and fungi.... Once again very helpful for us, without any side effects, the great quality is convincing. Just passing on our experience, maybe do an allergy test first.
