Our Pine Spray contains the freshness of the Tyrolean woods. The raw material is extracted from Swiss pine, which is native to the Austrian Alps. It has a characteristic woody scent. This room spray brings the essence of undisturbed nature and the unique scent of pine woods directly into your house. The room spray neutralises smells, creating an atmosphere of calmness and refreshment in our hectic everyday lives. Our Pine Spray is also ideal on the move – one or two puffs of the spray make your car or hotel room feel like home.
Pure nature – the essence of wild Swiss pine from the Alps
This spray contains essential oil from Swiss pine. To help disperse the oil in the air, we use ethanol. This also enables the scent to be more effectively released.
How does the pine scent get into the bottle?
The pine oil we use comes from wild growth in the Austrian Tyrolean Alps. The needles and branches of the Swiss pine are harvested by hand. Then the raw ingredients are distilled using a traditional handcraft method in a copper vessel with steam. This preserves the authentic, pure scent.
Steam distillation
In this method the plant parts are exposed to steam. The steam separates and dissolves the volatile, indissoluble components from the plant material, which then rise up with the steam. A cooling system then condenses the steam to a liquid, from which the essential oil is separated. This procedure is particularly gentle since the sensitive oils are not so strongly heated. The result is high-quality pine oil that still contains the great majority of the original ingredients.
