Produktinformationen
Hahnemann’s concept of miasms, repeatedly reformulated and reinterpreted up to the present day, is regarded by some homeopaths as a vague, outdated idea, while others base their entire methodology on it. The differing uses of the concept of “miasms” often lead to confusion and fuel debate.
“Spectrum of Homeopathy” aims to portray the diversity of theories in their development from 1828 to 2010 and to demonstrate their usefulness in practice with typical case examples. In the interview Rajan Sankaran sums up our concern: “For me a miasm is, first and foremost, something that should be practically applicable.”
The range of contributions extends from traditional concepts of scrofula and tuberculinia, through miasmatics as a precursor of modern trauma theory, to current miasm models for case analysis by remedy groups.
Renowned authors such as Louis Klein, Rosina Sonnenschmidt, Alok Pareek, Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten and others explain their individual perspectives and shed light on the elusive haze of the miasms.
