Vegan vitamin D3 from lichens supports the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function and a normal immune system.
Vegan vitamin D3 from Unimedica, with 1,000 IU vitamin D3 (25 µg per daily dose), is a high‑dose plant‑based vitamin D3 in drop form.
Vitamin D3, the "sun vitamin", is fat‑soluble and is therefore dissolved in high‑quality MCT oil (coconut oil) to ensure high stability.
The body only produces vitamin D3 itself with sufficient sunlight. This is not always adequate in the northern hemisphere, especially in autumn and winter. Therefore, supplementation with Unimedica's vegan vitamin D3 drops can be beneficial.
New is the production of Unimedica's vitamin D3 drops from purely plant‑based raw materials. D3 is usually obtained from lanolin (wool fat). Unimedica's vegan vitamin D3 drops are produced from lichens by fermentation. Therefore they are excellent for vegan and vegetarian diets.
