It contains around 40% polyunsaturated linoleic acid, which is rich in omega-6 fatty acids. The organic sesame oil is virgin and cold-pressed, so valuable nutrients are preserved. In addition to use in the kitchen, sesame oil is commonly used for skin care. This is due to the natural antioxidants it contains and its moisturising properties. It helps to nourish and protect the skin.

High-quality organic sesame oil for fine cuisine
Unimedica organic virgin sesame oil is a pure, certified organic plant oil made from the seeds of the organically grown Sesamum indicum. It is gently produced in certified facilities in Germany by mechanical cold-pressing and filtration to obtain the purest possible oil. Unimedica organic sesame oil consists of 100% plant oil and is free from animal proteins.
Sesame oil is rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, which, when used to replace saturated fats in the diet, contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
What can virgin sesame oil be used for?
With its nutty flavour, organic virgin sesame oil enhances salads, marinades and dips. It is suitable for baking, frying and steaming as well as for natural skin care. The yellow oil obtained from sesame seeds has a characteristic flavour and aroma.
