Yarrow herb – freshly dried from the organic meadow
Unimedica's organic yarrow herb comes from carefully controlled organic cultivation in the EU and is gently dried to best preserve the plant's natural constituents. It consists of pure yarrow herb – with no additives.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) belongs to the Asteraceae (daisy) family and is a well-known wild plant that grows on meadows, sheep pastures and at field and roadside edges. In folk usage it is known by many names: bellywort, blood herb, styptic herb, women's herb, woman's thanks, cat's herb or marguerite herb.
Yarrow herb was traditionally used in many ways – as a home remedy, as a culinary ingredient and even for dyeing textiles. It contains a wealth of valuable constituents and can be used, among other things, as an infusion, in herbal blends, for making tinctures or externally in compresses and baths.
