The tiny seeds are rich in fibre and swell very easily. They should therefore always be taken with plenty of liquid. Psyllium seeds are pure plant-based and have long been traditionally used. They contain hardly any fat or carbohydrate.
Since the whole psyllium seeds in their natural structure are used, they contain all ingredients in their complete natural form. Whole psyllium seeds naturally contain mucilage, which is found in the outer layer and husk.
Alternative sources of fibre
Oat flakes, wholemeal bread and fibre-rich vegetables are also suitable sources of natural fibre. The quality is always important. Psyllium seeds have the advantage that they can be used pure, without binding large amounts of additional nutrients such as carbohydrates and fat.

Recommended intake
Take up to 3.9 g of psyllium seeds with plenty of liquid as required. Make sure you drink enough liquid when consuming. A daily intake of 3.9 g should not be exceeded.
