Unimedica organic MCT oil is a blend of medium-chain triglycerides, primarily caprylic acid (60%) and capric acid (40%). The high-quality oil from certified organic farming is derived from the solid, dried part of the endosperm of Cocos nucifera L. It can be used both for skincare and in the kitchen – e.g. in muesli, smoothies, dips, salads or bulletproof coffee. As its valuable components are destroyed at temperatures above 120 °C, Unimedica organic MCT oil should not be heated excessively.

Organic MCT oil comes from coconut oil and is pure plant-based. It is a mixture of medium-chain triglyceride saturated fatty acids, 60% caprylic acid and 40% capric acid. MCT oil from Unimedica is extracted from the firm, dried part of the endosperm (the nutritional tissue of the plant seed, surrounding the germ bud) of Cocos nucifera L
MCT oil consists of medium-chain triglycerides, which are easier to digest and are rapidly converted to energy.
MCT oil from coconuts is colourless or pale yellow and is odourless. This makes it versatile – both in the kitchen as well as for skincare. MCT oil is very suitable to mix in muesli, power-smoothies, bulletproof coffee, dips or salads. It's also a tasty alternative to animal fats as a spread for bread. It is suitable for many different kinds of diet (e. g. paleo, low-carb, keto).
MCT oil from coconuts can be used for backing or cooking. Since the high-quality ingredients are destroyed at temperatures above 120 º C, it should not be heated too high or used for frying. The extracted substance contains medium-chain fatty acids, especially from caprylic and capric acid.
