It is a mixture of medium-chain triglyceride saturated fatty acids, 60% caprylic acid and 40% capric acid.  MCT oil from Unimedica is extracted from the firm, dried part of the endosperm (the nutritional tissue of the plant seed, surrounding the germ bud) of Cocos nucifera L
MCT oil consists of medium-chain triglycerides, which are easier to digest and are rapidly converted to energy.

MCT oil from coconuts is colourless or pale yellow and is odourless. This makes it versatile – both in the kitchen as well as for skincare. MCT oil is very suitable to mix in muesli, power-smoothies, bulletproof coffee, dips or salads. It’s also a tasty alternative to animal fats as a spread for bread.
