Astaxanthin – a protective colour of nature

ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica contain the natural dye astaxanthin. This is a carotenoid formed by the green alga Haematococcus pluvialis. Carotenoids are secondary plant substances that protect the plant cells from UV radiation and oxidation as they derive energy from the sunlight.

The green alga Haematococcus pluvialis with the red dye astaxanthin thus protects itself from the life-threatening effects of cold, lack of nutrients, dryness caused by heat as well as UV radiation. The red colouring of the micro-alga indicates changes in the environment.

The single-celled freshwater green alga is therefore able to survive up to 40 years without water and nutrients and then to regenerate itself again. Astaxanthin makes it resistant to extreme environmental changes.

Astaxanthin drops - vegan and in organic quality from Germany

Our bodies themselves do not produce astaxanthin. So it can make sense to take it through food or nutritional supplements such as ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica in order to benefit from the characteristics of this natural dye.

ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica are made in Germany. The algae come from strictly certified organic cultivation in the EU. To improve the bioavailability of astaxanthin, it is dissolved in drops of medium-chain triglycerides oil (MCT oil) in organic quality. Astaxanthin is fat-soluble.

Best protection for the skin
Astaxanthin is one of the most powerful antioxidants and for me an indispensable sun protection and anti-ageing ingredient. The drops are easy to take, taste slightly of fresh seafood but really subtle and I can adjust the dosage to suit my needs. It is an excellent sunscreen for my light-coloured and sensitive skin, so with astaxanthin I have skin protection and internal care at the same time. I have recovered more quickly after sport, especially when my joints have been strained too much. I also take the drops for detoxification because astaxanthin supports the liver in breaking down toxins and thus helps me to improve my performance.

Everything you have written sounds good. The only thing I don't agree with is the flavour. I can't take the drops without nausea 🤢. Tried it for 3 days. Unfortunately it doesn't work and I'll probably have to throw away the opened bottle. Unless - someone has a good tip that I could continue taking it without nausea. 🙏

It would be a shame to throw it away, as it is a highly effective natural substance! How about drizzling the drops on a piece of bread with a little olive oil or adding them to a vegetable or fruit juice? Tea, e.g. green tea or herbal tea would also be an option. I drip the Astaxantin under my tongue, leave it there for a few seconds so that it is absorbed through the mucous membranes, then swallow it with some water or tea and immediately take some honey to neutralise the taste.

Important for everyone
Since the first time I took it, I can no longer imagine life without this astaxanthin. I took a very high dose of the drops for the first few weeks, which had a rapid and immediate effect. Since taking it, I feel much fitter throughout the day and my sometimes very grumpy mood in my stomach has completely disappeared since the first intake. My stomach tingled after the first dose and since then the "moodiness" has been gone. I feel more efficient, more resistant to stress, in a good mood (antidepressant) since taking the drops. Yes, my whole body feeling has improved. I feel years younger and as alert as an owl-better than coffee or green tea. This astaxanthin is by far the best supplement I have ever taken and remains number 1 ahead of vitamin D. I can only advise everyone who reads this to give these drops a chance and to dose up properly at the beginning. I had no side effects, except that the drops unintentionally stained clothes ;)

During the replenishment phase you can literally drink the astaxanthin :) only the stools will turn reddish in colour. Of course, a low dose will also help, but the effects will take longer to appear. With this in mind "cheers"😉

Astaxanthin drops
I have been using Astaxantin for about 3 weeks now. And I have noticed the following changes. Burning eyes in the evening have virtually disappeared. I can see better, my vision is clearer, at the beginning it was like having rubbish removed from my head. And the wound healing has become super fast. I'm really thrilled. However, I take 8-12 mg a day.

Since I have been taking the drops, I have more energy and am no longer exhausted so quickly. Some reviews criticised the taste. I ordered them anyway. The fishy flavour seems logical to me for an active ingredient that is extracted from algae. I put the drops in a sip of water, take a deep breath and swallow. Then rinse with juice or coffee, that works well. The effect is more important to me than the flavour and taken as described, it's no problem at all.

I was initially put off by the comments about the flavour as I neither eat nor like fish and am already very sensitive when it comes to taste. I'm glad I dared to try it anyway, the flavour isn't bad at all. I drip it directly into my mouth, even without drinking anything afterwards. I've only just started taking it, so I can't say much about the effect yet, but if you read up on astaxanthin it should be very promising.

I also think that some of the comments are quite exaggerated about the flavour! I also don't eat meat or fish because it disgusts me but also because of the animals and I can drink the drops without disgust or that they taste terrible, I read here that some take 8 mg I'll try it out now and see how it works I'm curious to see how it works I've only been taking it since today

I know about the effects of astaxanthin and was therefore very happy to be able to buy it in drop form, because I generally prefer drops when it comes to food supplements. I am not sensitive when it comes to flavour and actually swallow everything, but these drops ended up in the bin after I had taken them three times. The taste and smell are as disgusting as rancid fish oil as soon as you take them and the worst thing is that you can't get rid of the taste and a latent nausea for hours. Every intake was a struggle. I will switch back to capsules. Unfortunately, I can't recommend buying it, as there was no recognisable effect after taking it for such a short time.

It's not about the effect of the product, it's about the following: I took these drops about 3 times and afterwards I had totally discoloured hands and everything that came into contact with them. The last time I wrapped a kitchen towel around the bottle and this was also very discoloured. (I certainly didn't drip on it!). The "colour" was all over the bottle. I think it would be better to make this in capsules.

Organic Astaxanthin Drops
I don't find the flavour bad, it reminds me a bit of linseed oil... But... what am I doing wrong? I put 10 drops directly into my mouth the first time and can only say: Good thing I didn't leave the house without looking in the mirror! Everything around my lips was discoloured! 😂🙈 Luckily it went away when I washed it off...then I dripped it on my spoon, but even there the upper lip including the skin above it is discoloured, does anyone have any tips on how I can make it better?

Since the capsules were not available, I ordered 3 bottles of oil... I had to vomit immediately when I took them, tried again a day later with fruit juice...had to vomit again immediately.... So impossible!!! Now I have to throw away the 3 bottles, can't recommend it to anyone else!!!

Tastes like seaweed slightly like fish but there are worse things, with me the cap was quickly leaked more I can not say yet, I bought it therefore nothing affects the breast milk what you eat therefore breast milk is produced from blood I thought you take the remedy for the blood! But I feel better with it than without!
