Behind the abbreviation NADH is a coenzyme form of vitamin B3 (niacin), also known as nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. Unimedica NADH capsules contain 50 mg of NADH powder per capsule. By encapsulating the NADH in vegan DRCaps®, Unimedica NADH capsules are more effective than liquid NADH or NADH powder. The DRCaps® are resistant to stomach acid and so the valuable ingredient is released intact only in the small intestine.

NADH is also known as coenzyme 1. NADH is an energy-rich biological hydrogen and the activated form of niacin (vitamin B3). It was first identified in 1904 by British chemists. Specifically, it is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) in its reduced form, the biological hydrogen (H). NADH occurs in the cells of all living organisms and is involved in over 1,000 metabolic processes.

As my husband has Parkinson's disease, among other things, we definitely wanted to test NADH. As it is a naturally occurring biological substance and is responsible for the repair of cells and DNA, it is particularly suitable for my husband. After just a few days we noticed a slight improvement, the trembling at rest has improved somewhat, he now even accompanies me on short walks when taking 2 capsules. Effective at significantly higher doses, even under extreme conditions
I am 66 years old and work between 50 and 60 hours a week, 50 weeks a year, as a self-employed person in a small family business. I can't afford to be absent and am therefore constantly present. This spring, the drop-outs and episodes became more and more acute - to the point of a "blackout" in the office in front of the company computer. I am hard of hearing and sometimes I can still hear sounds but can no longer understand the meaning of the words - I simply lacked the necessary energy. In April 2024, I read about NADH and immediately ordered the 20 mg capsule from another supplier. One capsule did nothing. I increased the dose to 3 capsules and felt a slight improvement. I then realised that it was working and that I needed more active ingredient. On further searching I found the 50mg dosage at Narayana. But even this dosage is not sufficient for severe cases. For weeks I have been taking 3 capsules of 50 mg in the morning after getting up and a 20 mg NADH lozenge at lunchtime after my first meal - so I am currently taking 170 mg a day. My condition has improved significantly and I can cope with the enormous workload again. As an employee, I would have taken time out or a cure long ago - but that is not possible in my situation. Without my daily presence, the company would have to close. My request/suggestion to Narayana: Please offer graduated prices for frequent consumers: packs of 2, 4, 6 or 10

NADH is a must for every athlete!
About me: M (22) who trains 4 times a week and hikes once a week, so actually does a lot of sport. I took NADH together with boron and indole-3-carbinol 2 hours after breakfast, i.e. on an empty stomach. The effect of NADH only appears after 1 week x1 capsule per day. You feel energised and very motivated. Jogging at 4 o'clock in the morning before work is somehow "easier". Maybe it's a placebo, but I have the feeling that regeneration is much faster. I recommend it to everyone! Try it for a week and you'll feel the energy!

NADH helps with joint pain
After taking it for 6 days, I felt significant relief from my long-standing joint pain, which has lasted until now. I have previously tried almost all known dietary supplements that are known to have this effect, without feeling any relief. In general, I find chlorophyll and NADH to be the two Unimedica products that have had the most significant effect on me.

Good feeling

Years ago I had already tried NADH 20 mg. I didn't notice any effect at all. So I have now tried NADH 50 mg. I have to say that it gives me more energy for the day. I notice this very clearly in the fact that I no longer have such a strong need for an afternoon nap. That's saying something for me!

I feel no effect
I have been taking these capsules for 1 month, first I took one capsule a day for a week and then 2 capsules a day and also stopped taking other supplements just to feel the effect of Nadh but I haven't felt anything yet I am still just as exhausted and tired as before. For the expensive price, it wasn't worth it.

I have no vitamin b12 or iron deficiency I have the b12 from uninedica as well as vitamin d3/k2 and vitamin c and am happy with it but NADH is supposed to give more energy directly but it hasn't

I would have the vitamin D level measured, it may be too low and the body is therefore in "economy mode/hibernation", which is why it cannot utilise the food supplements properly. VG

Nadh haircut
NADH is a pure energy product that is supposed to help with mononucleosis, where you are always weak and lacking in energy. Mun has to take it for a long time. In the past I only took capsules with 5mg or 10 mg for years. now I'm trying the 50 mg.

I am surprised
After a long search for what I was missing, why everything was only half effective and I was still ill and exhausted, I came across this product. My cells are not absorbing everything as they should. This is due to EBV and other illnesses. So I ordered this and now after 2 months I have to say that my energy is back. A short laryngitis of three days, where I used to need 3 weeks, was and is the result. I notice that NADH goes to the cells and the other products I am still taking are now working very well. I take this with coenzyme Q10, acetyl-L-carnitine and alpha-lipoic acid, which strengthens the ATP in the cells and the cell energy comes back.

Dear Judith,NADH can be taken in much higher doses. According to one study, up to 35 g per day without side effects. In comparison, the 170 mg is still a very low dose. best regardsHartmut
