Bitterness with pleasant effect

Dandelion drops contain the essence of the natural power of dandelion, which is known for its bitter substances. Bitter substances have various positive effects on our wellbeing. Yet the taste is not very popular. Thanks to our increasingly over-sweetened food, we increasingly reject naturally bitter substances. This makes it so important for our daily nutrition. If you don't like bitter things and still want to get the advantages of dandelion, try our dandelion drops. They can be taken not only on their own but also with liquids.

Natural support in liquid form

Dandelion is regarded as a healing plant. Its bitter substances, secondary plant substances and numerous valuable ingredients support our sense of wellbeing in numerous ways. Above all the root and leaves contain these substances – so we use both for our Dandelion Extract. The extraction procedure particularly enrichens the ingredients in Dandelion Extract. The plant parts are extracted in alcohol because this is the best way of dissolving the ingredients so they can be optimally absorbed by the body. Otherwise our Dandelion Extract contains no additions.

Other plants also have bitter substances

Foods with a similar amount of bitter substances include walnuts, artichokes, rocket, radicchio, grapefruit or chicory as well as broccoli, endives, curly kale, Brussels sprouts, chard, spinach, asparagus, fennel and celery.

Why Dandelion Extract drops are a worthwhile supplement to a sensible diet

Traditionally bitter fruit and vegetables have often been bred to create a more pleasant and less bitter taste. Unfortunately this means that they no longer contain the bitter substances necessary for our bodies.

With traditional bitters, which are traditionally not taken merely as drops, an unnecessarily large amount of alcohol is ingested, which can counteract the effect of the bitter substances. So Dandelion Extract drops can be used as needed as an alternative.

Resilient Asters

Common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) – also known in German as "bitter flower" – is widely found in Europe. Its name comes from the bright yellow flowers with the zig-zag look, reminiscent of the sharp teeth of a lion. After flowering it is a popular pastime to blow the seed head. The flower belongs to the Asters and spreads its seed on little parachutes that the wind blows across the land. Common dandelion can emerge from even the tiniest cracks in concrete, bristling with a vigorous will to live.

Dandelion is popular once again as a wild salad and also as a coffee substitute – for this the roots are dried and brewed up as chicory coffee. It is possible to make tea from the roots.

Each bottle of Dandelion Extract from Unimedica contains 100 ml.

Dandelion here in liquid form, very good
As an alternative practitioner, I know from experience how important it is to use natural healing methods that do not put additional strain on the body when treating patients. The dandelion drops from Narayana Verlag are an excellent choice for people who are looking for gentle yet effective support for their health - especially for older people who are often dependent on various conventional medicines. Dandelion is one of the oldest and most versatile medicinal plants and has a positive effect on many bodily functions. Its ability to support liver and kidney function is particularly well known. Dandelion helps to promote detoxification by stimulating the elimination of waste products and thus increasing general well-being. It also has a diuretic effect, which helps to promote kidney function and support fluid balance. This can be particularly beneficial for older people who often suffer from high blood pressure or water retention in the body. Another important aspect is the effect of dandelion on the digestive tract. The bitter substances in dandelion stimulate the production of digestive juices and promote digestion, which leads to better food absorption and an easier digestive process - especially in older people who can struggle with reduced digestive capacity. Narayana's drops are an excellent choice for the elderly in particular. Many people prefer liquid preparations such as drops, as they are easier to take than tablets and are a well-tolerated alternative to the often numerous tablets used in conventional medicine for more serious illnesses, especially neurological problems such as Parkinson's disease. Drops are not only easy to dose, but are also quickly absorbed by the body, which enhances the effect of the dandelion. As a naturopath, I have also found that many patients greatly appreciate natural remedies such as these dandelion drops because they have a gentle and supportive effect on the body without the side effects that can occur with many pharmaceutical medicines. Dandelion drops are an excellent way of activating the body's self-healing powers, especially for people who want to distance themselves from conventional medicine or supplement it with natural remedies. To summarise, the dandelion drops from Narayana Verlag are an excellent choice for the natural support of the liver, kidneys and digestion. They are particularly suitable for older people and patients looking for gentle but effective herbal support, and I highly recommend them for both preventative purposes and to support existing health conditions. I am delighted to finally be able to recommend this product to my clients in liquid form. Please more products in liquid form in the future, e.g. everything from Stephen Harrod Buhner, who himself recommended and produced mostly liquid preparations. He simply knew a lot about the production of medicinal plants.

The liver simply works harder to detoxify. I am not aware of any side effects; dandelion root has been used for thousands of years for detoxification and digestion. ... If in doubt, consult your doctor. Of course, ANY herb can cause side effects if you are intolerant to it, e.g. if you have an allergy. I have never heard of such an allergy. BUT: start with 1 drop and then increase slowly if you are concerned or your body reacts strongly. Take it with room-temperature water and drink a glass of warm water afterwards.

Major influence on well-being
I take the drops twice a day like an "aperitif" and dissolve them in a glass of water. The flavour is unproblematic and not annoying, so don't worry, it's not too bitter at all. Dandelion is related to milk thistle and has an incredible effect on good digestion. It therefore helps with constipation, flatulence and acid reflux. The best thing for my stomach ache. I find dandelion in drop form particularly effective and relaxes my gastrointestinal tract in a pleasant way. The bitter substances taraxacin have a digestive and antispasmodic effect and also stimulate the metabolism. Dandelion also has an effect on the bile in the liver so that it remains fluid. The liver is the central metabolic organ and can therefore also benefit from the cleansing and detoxifying effect. As the root contains the prebiotic fibre substance inulin, it activates digestion. Dandelion can also lower cholesterol levels, has an antioxidant effect and strengthens the pancreas. Dandelion also contains important minerals such as potassium, magnesium, zinc and copper, vitamin C, K and provitamin A as well as flavonoids. I can also recommend it to people without complaints for a "spring clean"!

For dogs, I would choose a product without alcohol, as the alcohol it contains is not suitable for animals.
