Black seed oil softgel capsules - the treasure of the Egyptian sun
Black seed oil softgel capsules from Unimedica contain the valuable constituents of the black seed. The seeds of the true black seed (Nigella sativa) are naturally rich in unsaturated fatty acids and plant compounds that protect and nourish the seed so new life can grow.
The black seed oil, gently cold-pressed in a German oil mill, is distinguished by its high-quality virgin character. The cold-pressing process preserves the valuable constituents during oil extraction. This oil is produced from ripe seeds of the Egyptian-grown “true black seed” (Nigella sativa) and encapsulated here in soft gelatine capsules. These are pleasant to swallow and are highly dosed at 3,000 mg per day.
What is black seed?
Black seed (Nigella sativa) is not ordinary caraway, but a white-flowering member of the buttercup family from the Orient and is known as a traditional medicinal plant. Hot, dry conditions favour the harvesting of the black seed plant’s seeds for the production process. This centuries-old Egyptian tradition leads to the famous “Baraka” quality.
What is the soft capsule made of?
Soft bovine gelatine and glycerine are used to manufacture the softgel capsules. The capsules contain the same high-quality constituents as the pure oil and glycerine serves as a humectant. The soft shell ensures these black seed oil capsules are easy to swallow.
The capsules are flavourless and particularly convenient for use on the go. For this reason they are sometimes preferred to pure black seed oil.
The thymoquinone content in black seed oil: a sign of quality
Unimedica’s black seed oil capsules are characterised by a high thymoquinone content, ranging between 380 mg and 700 mg per 100 ml. Thymoquinone is an important component of the oil and is responsible for many of its positive properties. These natural variations in content arise from different cultivation conditions or the time of harvest.
What do black seed oil capsules help with?
Black seed oil capsules supplement the daily diet with rich natural plant compounds and virgin oil. They should be taken before a meal so the ingredients can develop their effects in the body as effectively as possible.
Each container holds 400 capsules. This corresponds to approximately a two-month supply.

Unimedica’s black seed oil capsules are, in accordance with legal requirements, free from preservatives and additionally contain no additives such as flavours, colourings, stabilisers, anti-caking agents such as magnesium stearate, are non-GM as well as lactose-free and gluten-free.
