User reports: Homeopathy for aphid infestation

News

Homoeopathy for aphid infestation

Spring is here and with it the aphids. Seedlings planted out after the Ice Saints are particularly prone to these sap-sucking pests. Ants are also busy in spring, tending aphid colonies and thereby exacerbating the damage.

Often aphids can be brought under control with the homoeopathic remedies recommended by Christiane Maute in her book Homoeopathy for Plants. Numerous reports of experience stand for the many successes gardeners have achieved with the homoeopathic method. Read here in detail how you can protect your plants with Homeoplant. For with the healing power of nature not only people regain health — your garden will reward you with a profusion of blooms and a bountiful harvest.

Homoeopathic treatment for aphid infestation on hibiscus

Sabine Luhr from Leonberg writes:

“Aphids appear on my three hibiscus plants every year; last year they were driven away in a very short time with the following applications:

Day 1: Cimicifuga C30  3 globules in 0.5 l of water in a spray bottle, thoroughly wet the plant
Day 3: as above
Day 5: Staphisagria C30  3 globules in 0.5 l of water in a spray bottle, thoroughly wet the plant

The first photo clearly shows the dense infestation of black aphids on the hibiscus. Ten days later the plant is almost free of aphids; it seems they no longer find it to their taste.

Additionally, on the days of treatment I water the soil around the plants with Camphora C30, 7 globules in 10 l of water, using a watering can with attachment, to annoy the aphid-tending ants a little. Already last year this procedure was sufficient for the whole summer to make the hibiscus less attractive to aphids and ants.”

Homoeopathic treatment for aphids on lettuce

The Kasehs nursery in Vienna grows Lollo Rosso, Lollo Bionda, oak leaf and Batavia outdoors and in the greenhouse.

It was able to prevent previous aphid infestations successfully with weekly sprays of Petroleum C 30, from planting out at 5 grams per 100 litres.

Experience has shown that regular, preventative treatment is decisive. Some lettuce seedlings left over at planting out and not treated have now developed aphid infestation and downy mildew.
