Mobile phone radiation as a homeopathic remedy
The woman, born in 1974, came to see me because she has suffered hair loss since the birth of her second child two years earlier. She breastfed her son for six months.
She had already been to several doctors, but the examinations showed nothing noteworthy. For a while she took iron supplements, which did not help.
During her period she suffers from headaches. Her bleeding has been irregular since the last delivery, sometimes even twice within four weeks. Four to five days before the bleeding starts she feels very nervous. Occasionally her nipples secrete a few drops of "water" and her breasts swell periodically.
The patient has two children; the eldest is eight years old. She originally comes from the Mediterranean region and in the first years of her marriage she commuted between the two countries. It was a difficult time. She longed greatly for her country, her family and her old friends in the village. She missed country life. After she learned Dutch and found a job it got better; it distracted her from homesickness.
"During my second pregnancy everything got worse because my parents-in-law had a marital crisis. The two of them were constantly calling us because they needed someone to mediate between them. I still get annoyed when I think about it. My son was born five weeks early because it was so stressful. Even the ringing of the telephone brings the memory back… Then I get headaches that last all night. Since then I have been taking paracetamol regularly.
The relationship with my husband is difficult. We love each other but we are very different. We never agree and argue often; it doesn't get us anywhere… only tension, like an electric current. I can't get it out of my head. There is no solution for it.
I can't concentrate any more. I have to write everything down and then I still forget it."
She has been using a mobile phone for two years because she wants to be reachable at any time for her daughter's school and for her family abroad…
"What worries me most is the hair loss and the headaches; I have to help myself somehow. I am a rather serious woman and very sensitive. If I see a crying child on TV it affects me badly; I feel terrible. It's getting worse. I become quickly impatient, especially with the children.
I no longer have my job because the hotel where I worked was sold. When my son is four years old I will look for work again. I need an occupation."
Dizziness?
"Several times a month after getting up; it can take 1–2 hours before it passes."
Sleep?
"I become tired quite early and often wake up during the night. After 3 or 5 a.m. I cannot sleep again. I don't remember my dreams. Mostly I am very tired in the mornings, and I generally have little energy.
I am very thirsty, with a dry throat, and I like to drink water.
I like skiing in the mountains near my hometown. I like talking to my old friends who still live there. My husband prefers the city. In recent months my sense of direction has become much worse."
Analysis
Very obvious in this case is the enormous sensitivity to visual and acoustic stimuli. The feeling of electrical tension, the dizziness, the disorientation and the memory loss also stand out.
She must always have her mobile phone with her (for two years; this was when her complaints began!), so I thought of the homeopathic remedy Mobile Phone. Louis Klein introduced the remedy in his seminar on the "imponderables". My patient had also moved country. It reminded me of the Magnetis case that Louis showed in a video.
(The interesting question here is whether people with a migration background are generally more sensitive to radiation and magnets. We will certainly find out the longer we use these remedies.)
I gave the patient Mobile Phone C200K (by Helios; the remedy was proved by Nuala Eising).
Follow-up after 5 weeks
"I feel much better; the tension in my head has diminished considerably. I have no problems with my period any more. My sleep has improved by 100%. I may still wake up early perhaps twice a week, but then I can fall asleep again.
I dream of the village where my parents live. We have bought a house there for the children. It is currently being built.
I no longer have hair loss, but I would like the hair to grow back. It is not very nice at the moment; I always think of decay. I am afraid of growing old here – without my family. The homesickness is not as bad now and I am currently looking for a job. There is no substitute for my friends and my family; here I only have colleagues or acquaintances.
Since I have been living in this country I have become aware of how important my sister and friends are to me. They see each other often because they all live close to each other. I miss that; I have no one to support me or to help me with the children. My husband works a lot.
My concentration has improved, my energy too. My headaches have practically disappeared; they had felt like an electric current between my eyes."
Because of the homesickness I gave the patient Phosphoricum acidum C200K. The remedy should also promote hair regrowth.
So far she has not needed to come back to my practice.
