Jörg Wichmann died on 23 April 2020 aged 62 after a long illness.
Jörg Wichmann was one of Germany's leading homeopaths. Already in the 1990s he contributed to the systematic understanding of homeopathic remedies with his publication The Natural System of Remedies. He further developed this knowledge base through the extensive website www.provings.info , which is unique in homeopathy in terms of scope and clarity.

Jörg not only made thousands of homeopathic proving protocols available to us through this database, but also personally led numerous remedy provings. He is the author of several books, including The Natural System of Remedies, which he wrote together with Angelika Bolte. It is one of the most important reference works for the classification of homeopathic remedies.
Jörg was a tireless advocate of the free choice of therapy. He put a great deal of work into his FreeWiki project, an online encyclopaedia of alternative knowledge with much interesting information about homeopathy.

Anne Schadde conveyed my sincere and warm wishes to him shortly before his death. She wrote to me that she had spoken with him on Skype yesterday. He was weak but fully alert and of sound mind. I bow before his wonderful soul. We will miss him very much.”
