Using a case study of Salvia officinalis, the Lamiaceae are presented from the perspective of Jan Scholten's plant theory. The qualities of the lanthanides and the silver series, combined with the pronounced phosphoric nature of phase and subphase 5, create an image of creativity, a sense of aesthetics, and a taste for enterprise and travel in a communicative, self-confident, autonomous personality with many contacts and partnerships. Various indications pointing to the theme of downfall lead in this case to stage 15.
