First think, think, then choose
There is enough technical and medical information to make a personal decision for your own body. I am an older person who still has a zest for life. So what can I do for my trillions of cells to support them in their enormous task? How can I help the brain in particular? So I came across vitamin B12 drops in combination with vitamin D3 drops. According to the application, I regularly administered these to my body. I have noticed and I can clearly feel that I have become even more vital. I want to keep it that way and continue to take these two supplements. I also hope it remains a valuable help. Especially affordable THANK YOU

The drops work
After Vit B 12 tablets didn't help me, I was given injections because of my low levels, which of course I didn't want permanently. Since I have been taking the drops from Narayana, my blood values have been very good in this respect and injections are no longer necessary. The level in my blood is constant thanks to the drops and not, as with the injections, very high at first and then constantly falling until the values are in the basement again. They also have a pleasant flavour. I can only recommend the drops.

@Christiane: Did you take 2 drops per day? I've often read that drops work much better than capsules/tbls because they are absorbed immediately in the oral mucosa. I don't want to have an injection as I would then have to go to the doctor all the time, which would be too time-consuming for me... Have you also had your holo-TC measured (this is the active form), or just the B12 level? Best regards Kathrin

Having Holo-TC measured is definitely the better way, but you probably know that too. I take 4 drops a day and feel good with them. Yes, it's true that drops work better than capsules or tablets. However, this is also due to the fact that some people may not be able to utilise the B12 in capsules or tablets in the stomach, or may not be able to utilise it as well. There are various reasons for this. If you prefer, you can also take these lozenges instead of the drops, as they are also absorbed in the oral mucosa.

The lozenges (I had them from a well-known American company combined with folic acid) gave me severe B12 acne after about 6 weeks! I didn't know that such a thing even existed! It took 2 months until my skin was back to normal. Since then I have been very careful with the dosage. I now only take one drop of these drops every 2nd day and so far everything is fine. However, I am afraid that it will start again with a higher dosage. Unfortunately, I don't have this intrinsic factor. And now I have to watch how I slowly and steadily increase my dosage so that I get back to a reasonable level....L.G. Kathrin

Lozenges from an American company? Have you checked to see if there are any additives in them that could have caused this B12 acne? These B12 drops from here certainly don't contain any additives. It is understandable that you are very cautious. I think it's a good idea to increase the dosage slowly. If you have then taken the same dosage as the lozenges for a longer period of time and no acne has appeared, it could really have been due to the previous lozenges. In any case, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you tolerate the drops without any problems. I have one more question: How many mg of B12 did you take daily with the lozenges?

The American company is called "Jarrow" and is the No. 1 B12 preparation in the USA. There are different versions: one without added folate and one with. I had the 1000 micrograms with folic acid and was supposed to take one a day (as instructed by my doctor). I also stuck to the dosage as I had already had injections in the past (another doctor) and had tolerated them well. At that time, however, I was given this top treatment over 24 weeks, one injection every fortnight. This gave the cobalamin enough time to distribute itself. However, B12 acne has nothing to do with the additives, nor with the form of cobalamin. We now know from clinical studies in Zurich and California that around 1-2% of people who take such high doses of B12 develop B12 acne after a few weeks. The porhyrins in the skin are probably responsible for this...That's why I'm naturally careful now and try to take low doses of the drops. I envy anyone who can take this without harm, then I would also be in the green zone now....L.G. Kathrin

I was not familiar with the Jarrow company before. However, the products and prices seem to be good. I know how long you have been taking 1000 micrograms of B12 daily. Normally such a high dose is only taken for about 2 months. I also understand your caution. But Jarrow and Narayana recommend 500 micrograms of B12 daily, which is half of what you were taking before. I don't think you'll have these problems again with this dosage. But perhaps you can find out more at vitaminb12.de . There you can read how much B12 is recommended in which cases, but also that the body absorbs significantly less B12 than is taken. Normally, 500 micrograms of B12 per day should be completely sufficient in the long term. But perhaps you already know all this.

Thank you, Peter. Yes, I know this "Vitamin B12 page", I also read a lot on it at the beginning. No, even the 500 micrograms per day are far too much for me. I have already tested all possible dosages. The highest I feel is one drop every 2nd day. Yes, I know, that's nothing. But I've had to fight acne again twice in the meantime, not nice and it takes weeks for my skin to get back to normal. I wish science would look into this problem. There are initial findings from Zurich University Hospital, but they are still at the very beginning of their research. Kind regards, Kathrin

Hi Sarah, unfortunately I can't say for sure as I haven't been back to my doctor yet. I have now only taken one drop every 2nd day, as otherwise I would immediately get the first signs of acne again. I also spoke to my doctor on the phone in the meantime (he knows about my B12 acne) and he said I should take it slowly, as I can tolerate it. The terrible thing is that if I take one drop a day, for example, I immediately get acne again after 4 weeks, practically overnight. I generally feel better now, no longer so tired and my hair loss has also stopped. But that could also be because I've been outside a lot this summer (hiking, swimming) and water and sun also energise you. As I said, I need a new appointment to measure again. Best regards, K.

Hello Sarah! Well, I've finally had my level measured again by the lab. My level has gone up well, currently: 780ng/l (previously, last year 192ng/l). It took a long time because I couldn't take such high doses due to my B-12 acne. As described above, I took a drop every 2nd day, but I couldn't manage. Nevertheless, the value has now increased and I will continue to take these drops, but will maintain my low dosage. I feel better again, have more power, energy and am not exhausted so quickly. L.G. I'm not Kathrin, but you wrote to me. See my answer above you. So 1 drop every 2 days should not be enough to raise the level to a good value. You can take the recommended daily dose of 2 drops. What should speak against it?

That sounds good! However, with such a permanently high dosage, hopefully the blood will also be checked regularly. How long has your husband been taking this high dosage? Is he hopefully also taking a high dose of vitamin D3 (+ K2 + magnesium as co-factors)?

B12 is water-soluble and cannot be overdosed. And the blood value is falsified. The MMA value should be measured in the urine. Holo TC if MCV value is over 90

I only wrote about high doses and not about overdosing. Even if you can't overdose on B12, you shouldn't take it to extremes. Personally, I don't think more than 4 drops a day is necessary. But in individual cases, as with Petra's husband, it may still be necessary. He is apparently under medical supervision.

Highly recommended without exception!
I am absolutely convinced by the product. I struggled for a few weeks with severe nausea and associated stomach pain that lasted for at least an hour every two days. The symptoms usually occurred at night and left me completely exhausted. Food intolerances and pregnancy were ruled out. I have now been taking B12 for almost a month. The symptoms have completely disappeared since I started taking it. I am also much fitter than usual and feel better mentally. I can recommend the product without reservation.

Highly recommended: B12 drops + D3/K2 MK7-all trans drops
The drops were intended for a family of five friends, all of whom have been vegan for a long time. I recently enquired how satisfied they were with the products. The answer was clear: everyone benefits from the two bottles. I myself have had a low B12 level for a long time and have lived for years with the risk of damage that may not be able to be repaired. Now I no longer want to expose myself to these risks and supplement myself. What convinces me about the two products is that the B12 drops contain not only methylcobalamin, but also adenosylcobalamin. I appreciate the fact that no plastic bottles are used and no cherry flavour is used. Incidentally, children aged nine and eleven also take the B12 drops. The alcohol content is not a problem here, although the family does not otherwise consume any alcoholic drinks, apart from a few exceptions. The order numbers were 25178 and 24905.

Very good product
I was looking for a replacement for B12 lozenges because the sugar substitutes bothered me. It's great that these drops contain both bioactive bioactive forms of vitamin B12, which is almost unheard of, especially at this super price. They can be dosed very precisely using the pipette and have a pleasant flavour. The glass bottle is ecologically safe and I save the waste of the plastic container. Very good value for money. Can be dosed very precisely using the pipette. The glass bottle is also ecologically safe and much better than tablets better than tablets in a plastic container.

This calculation is about right. For me, one bottle is not even enough for a whole year because I have my own daily dose. And I'm doing well. You can also take one bottle for a whole family (if you have one), which of course shortens the time accordingly. For example, if a family of 4 takes 2 drops per person per day (recommended daily dose), the bottle will last for about 7 months. For a single person, the question arises as to whether the vial will be used up before the best-before date is reached or exceeded.

Hello, so within 3-4 months the values have risen so high that my doctor said that the values are almost too high. At the beginning I counted the individual drops (daily recommendation), then at some point I simply took about the same amount. And that every day. Despite the higher values, I was doing very well.

It's great that taking these drops has had such a positive effect on your well-being. I also take these drops (even more than recommended) and also D3 (more than recommended). My doctor almost panicked after the new results and wanted me to reduce the dosage significantly. However, as I never felt better, I naturally stuck to my own dosage (on my own responsibility). I have been on this dosage for 3 years now. I'm still doing very well, have no problems whatsoever and I'm still alive. Incidentally, according to several medical specialists, no overdoses of either B12 or D3 are known to date. You can also google it. This applies to those who don't want to believe it.

The DGE recommendations are far too low! This applies to all parameters such as D3, zinc, vitamin C and also B12. I also take higher doses of D3 and C, even on the advice of my doctor, who is a nutritionist and internist. In 30 years of practice, he is not aware of any overdoses, but he sees patients with severe deficiencies and complaints on a daily basis, as they are undernourished despite a supposedly good diet.

Unlike many others, I have known for years that the DGE recommendations are unfortunately still far too low. It's great that you have such a great doctor. I hope that you also take K2 and magnesium in addition to D3. Because only then can D3 work properly. I know this from my circle of friends too, severe deficiencies and complaints despite a supposedly good diet. And at first they don't understand how it can be. But many of them take medication for all sorts of things despite a good diet. Unfortunately, they are uninformed and don't realise that there are other options.

I only take one drop of these B12 drops per day (=250 micrograms), I have now stopped taking vitamin C (I always took 300mg of acerola over the winter). I take vitamin D3 as a combination drop (contains D3+K2) 5000 i.e.- but only every 2nd day (my level is good, I always have it measured). Now in summer I don't take any more D3 as I'm always out in the sun over lunchtime. I then usually have a relatively high level in autumn. Prof Spitz says that you should always take approx. 1,000 units of D3 per 10kg of body weight, so a man weighing 80kg should take 8,000 units over the winter! units over the winter. But I have never taken such a high dose. I think 3,000 - 4,000 units are enough for an adult, unless you have a really low D level. You could have it measured by your doctor. L.G. Kathrin

Yes, great. Then you are well supplied. If you can speak English reasonably well, I would recommend the book: "The Vitamin D Solution" by the American scientist Dr Michael Holick. Holick is the American "vitamin pope", a total nerd. He knows everything about vitamin D3. It's actually a standard work that everyone should read, because it explains all the background. He also says, for example, that you should always favour natural sunshine over supplementation. So always go out in the sun at midday, if possible without sun cream (this hinders D3 formation). L.G. Kathrin.

Offal (such as liver) has the highest B12 content. This is also one of the reasons why vegans often develop a B12 deficiency after 2-3 years (this is when the stores are empty).

That is correct so far. However, there are still a number of things to bear in mind. If a deficiency has occurred due to empty stores, this can of course be compensated for and replenished immediately. However, the intake of B12 should not be discontinued, which might be an option for some people, at least for perhaps 2 years. It is estimated that around half of the amount taken in is excreted within a month. In addition, various medications can and probably do have a significant negative effect on the absorption of B12. I assume that you are also aware of which medications have these properties! And as we generally know, more and more people are taking more and more medication these days. It would therefore be advisable to have your B12 levels checked regularly.

Ok, that's right. (Careless) mistake on my part. But nuts contain: Vitamin B1 (thiamine) Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) Niacin (vitamin B3) Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) Biotin (vitamin B7) Folic acid (vitamin B9) Unfortunately, I overlooked the fact that B12, of all vitamins, is not included. Before another but comes up, it also depends on the type of nut.

Vitamin B12
This is a vitamin that the human body cannot store, so you have to take it every day - a very important vitamin for the nerves. The B-complex is just as important, I take 4 drops every day, I always take more than is written on the packet because in Germany they would like to ban natural products, the manufacturer has to write what the government says on it, only a sick person earns anything, that's why you have to take vitamins to stay healthy. That's why I buy from Narayana It says what's in it - a purely natural product.

Vitamin B12 is the only water-soluble vitamin that the body can store. With sufficient stores, this lasts for around 3 years. However, as some people's stores are almost exhausted, this food supplement makes sense (especially for vegans). A. Jörgens

Very good bioavailability
I order these drops for an 86-year-old woman who always had a vitamin B12 deficiency before taking Unimedica's vitamin B12 drops - even when taking vitamin B12 products from other manufacturers. With the drops from Unimedica, a balance was achieved immediately and the patient is overjoyed because she can finally report success. The patient is also very happy that she can take this product in the form of drops, as this makes it much easier and simpler for her to take. She is also very happy that she does not feel any subsequent nausea after taking these drops, as this was always the case with other products.

Thank you very much for the great product and the fast delivery. I have been taking the drops for almost 2 months and am very satisfied. Before that I often felt exhausted and depressed. Since I've been taking the drops, I feel fitter than I have for a long time. The fact that no additives are used and the dosage is really easy are further plus points. I can only recommend the product.

I had been taking 2x 1000 µg B12 daily for a few months to get my B12 levels up. Once this was achieved, I permanently reduced my dosage to 1x 1000 µg daily. I didn't experience any negative effects, neither with 1000 µg nor with 2000 µg B12 daily. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with 1000 µg daily. I haven't heard of a possible overdose of B12 myself. If you have any concerns, I would ask a doctor. Regarding the question asked.....what dosage was possibly intended? However, please also remember that D3 (+ co-factors) is also fundamentally important.

I have been supplementing with D3, K2, B12, OPC and nattokinase for a long time. I used to take Robert Franz products and have now been taking Unimedica products for some time. My overall well-being is better, I am no longer so tired and have more energy. I am very satisfied with Unimedica's products, which are much better value for money.

After extensive research on vitamin B12, I found it here at Narayana. I have been ordering here regularly for a long time and am very satisfied with the products, delivery and customer service. And I promptly came across these drops. Better than capsules and the reviews convinced me. I often feel weak and tired due to stress at work. I've been taking vitamin B12 once a day for a week now and I feel much more balanced and definitely have more energy. I am convinced by this product and can only recommend it to others.

I immediately believe that about the muscle twitches. After all, this B12 also helped a friend of mine a lot in her fight against this RLS syndrome. There are/were other products involved, but B12 is likely to have made a significant contribution. By the way, I also recommend D3 and OPC to make you even more resilient. And don't forget magnesium, preferably in the form of oil.

Can you recommend a good OPC? I haven't dared to use it yet. The choice on the market often overwhelms me. And at the moment I'm in a very bad way physically, also because of leaky gut and constant digestive complaints. Why magnesium as an oil? I take it in capsule form and Vit D3&K2 as drops.

OPC I recommend this one: OPC Ultra - with 700 mg pure OPC per daily dose (2 capsules) - high dose - 240 capsules - from Unimedica. Why magnesium as an oil to apply to the skin? Because this is the best way for the body to absorb and utilise it. In addition, the stomach is not burdened. Alternatively, we also recommend: Magnesium ionic drops from Mega Mag Trace ® Minerals from the Great Utah Salt Lake - 118 ml - from Unimedica. Both recommended products are available here at Narayana.

@Andre Steffens: Then I would call Narayana's customer service. You can always reach someone there and they will certainly be able to answer you straight away. I have also been taking these drops for years (my B12 deficiency has been remedied, I have it measured regularly). Even if they contained sweetener, I would only take one drop a day, so I wouldn't bother. I don't use sweetener in everyday life either, but here you only have minimal amounts, if any at all. L.G. Very tasty
As I eat a vegan diet, taking B12 is very important for me. For the first time, I am taking it in liquid form - and I am very enthusiastic. I can concentrate better and feel safe because I know from Anthony William that vitamin B12 protects the body from viral neurotoxins. It was important for me to take B12 as adenosylcobalamin in combination with methylcobalamin, and this vegan vitamin B12 from Unimedica has that. I will definitely order it again.

Much fitter 👍
Due to a B12 deficiency (my level is a little over 400), I ordered the B12 drops. However, I take 4 drops instead of the 2 indicated. I feel much better, fitter and more alert. Only the pain in my leg hasn't gone away yet. It is supposed to be due to stuck fasciae. Maybe I can find another remedy here that will help me. I can definitely recommend the drops

Ordered here for the 1st time. Delivery was quick and problem-free. I share the product with my cat, who suffers from CNI (chronic renal insufficiency). He gets 2 drops and so do I. I can already say that he has become a little more mobile. It's also good for me, I'm no longer so listless. In any case, the product is really great and the fact that it is alcohol-free is particularly good. So I'm very happy with it and will certainly be reordering it. Thank you

Full of energy through everyday life
My husband and I have been vegetarians for many years. We have been taking the vitamin B12 drops together with the vitamin D3/K2 drops every day for about 3 weeks and have been full of energy ever since. My husband is rather sceptical about such things, but even he is fascinated by his sudden energy. We will definitely be buying more!

I always like it when sceptics are convinced by their own experience. Now your husband knows what he would have missed out on if he hadn't got involved ;) However, it is definitely advisable to take magnesium as well. Together with D3, it significantly improves the utilisation of calcium.

I used to have B12 injections. Then at some point I switched to tablets because there was no longer any reason to have high levels of B12 injected and I realised that I don't tolerate the tablets very well and they gave me stomach pains. With the drops, I can say that I tolerate them well and have had no objections so far.

We have been taking Unimedica B12 drops for some time now (we used to take lozenges) and I am very happy with them. My little son also takes them without any problems. I decided in favour of the bioactive form, which according to the naturopath is also much better absorbed by the body. We are sticking with this product and are also trying out other Unimedica products.

A clear recommendation to buy!
I have been using the B12 drops for a few weeks now and am satisfied. I really like the fact that no alcohol is used and that two forms of B12 are combined. This means that this B12 has a high bioavailability. As a vegan, I have to take good care of my B12 levels and the drops are ideal for this: no need to swallow a tablet, easy to dose, pleasant flavour. Simple and uncomplicated, great!

Good product, good quality
I have been taking the drops for a few weeks now and they are helping me just as much as the previous drops from another company, so I am very happy about that. My B12 levels in my blood are still where I want them to be! Unfortunately, the drops have one particular drawback for me, I have a histamine intolerance and they contain alcohol, so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to tolerate them, but they work. However, I will switch back to alcohol-free drops when they run out and I can get them again. But it's only due to my histamine intolerance, otherwise I recommend it! I would recommend other intolerant people to try it carefully, as it is best to test your tolerance limit yourself! I can therefore give no guarantee that it is generally tolerable for histamine intolerance!

How long the bottle lasts depends on the dosage. It contains 1,700 drops. If you take 4 drops a day, for example, it would last for a good 14 months. For me, a bottle doesn't last that long ;)
