The special beauty collagen for exclusive skin care from the inside
Uniglow Beauty Collagen from Unimedica was created to specifically support the skin with the most proven substances, working from the inside out. A well-nourished and moisturised skin can fulfil its function, glowing and looking smoother, giving us a feeling of youthful freshness. Particularly high-quality ingredients are used for Uniglow. The collagen comes from grass-fed free-range beef. The vitamin C used is the natural L form. The powder can be mixed into drinks, making it easy to take every day.
The most effective nutrients combined in a powder
Uniglow combines the nutrients that have so far been best proven for a glowing skin: vitamins A (retinol) and C (ascorbic acid), biotin and the minerals zinc, manganese and copper as well as the structural proteins collagen and hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance. It keeps the skin moist by binding three times its own volume of water. Collagen is an endogenous structural protein. It supports the skin tissue, keeping the skin firm and elastic. Copper – like zinc, vitamin A and biotin – is also involved in the maintenance of normal skin and vitamin C helps maintain skin function. Zinc, vitamin C, manganese and copper also protect cells from oxidative stress.
Why external skin care is not enough
If the skin is provided with precisely the nutrients it needs for its normal consistency and function, it will look cared for and fresh, and can fulfil its barrier function. If the nutrients are externally administered using skincare products, at best they penetrate to the upper skin layers and have a temporary action since the skin is constantly being renewed. But if we nourish the skin from the inside out, all bodily processes contributing to a normally functioning and attractive skin will benefit. The constantly renewed skin cells benefit at the start from all the nutrients they require for skin structure and consistency.
Can I also find these skincare nutrients in food?
There is a lot of vitamin A in liver and derived sausage products, eggs, milk and milk products and certain types of fish (e.g. eel). Plant-based foods such as lamb's lettuce, spinach, curly kale, carrots, red pepper, sweet potato, apricots and pumpkin only container the precursor provitamin A (betacarotene). The body makes vitamin A from this.
Vitamin C is found in citrus fruits, berries, sweet potatoes, rosehips, sea buckthorn, broccoli and kohlrabi. Foods rich in biotin (vitamin B7) are liver, egg yolk, oatflakes, wheat germ, nuts, mushrooms and soybeans, tomatoes, spinach, potatoes, fish and cereals.
Zinc is found in liver, meat, cheese, oatflakes, soybeans, various seeds and cocoa powder. Manganese is found in rice, oatflakes, strawberries and blueberries, hazelnuts, peas and wholewheat bread. Copper is found in wholegrain oatflakes, cocoa powder, cheese, chickpeas, pig liver, shrimps, Brazil nuts and cashew nuts.
Hyaluronic acid is part of fish and cartilage but also of potatoes, sweet potatoes, almonds and green leafy vegetables. Collagen is found in pulses, seeds and nuts, oatflakes, wheatgerm, avocados, rice, fish and meat.
Why Uniglow can be an important support for the skin
Of course a balanced and wholefood diet supports the beauty and function of skin. But who can manage to obtain the daily requirements of these nutrients from all the various foods on offer? In addition stress, environmental impacts and lifestyle issues such as lack of exercise, nicotine and alcohol consumption impact the wellbeing of our skin and require additional nutrients. Uniglow Beauty Collagen from Unimedica supports the regular supply of nutrients to the skin: it simply tops up the nutrients found in our foods.
Premium and sustainable – because it's important to us
Uniglow is sustainably packaged. The extra thin, robust and very light plastic container can be completely recycled, minimising resources. The premium contents are protected and have a long shelf life because the container can be securely resealed with the zip after use each time.
