Edamamé Sojabohnen enthalten besonders viele Proteine und wertvolle Ballaststoffe. Sie werden als junge grüne Sojabohnen geerntet und maximal 5 Stunden nach der Ernte fix & fertig gekocht und in Dosen abgefüllt. Sie sind nussig-süßlich im Geschmack und besonders aromatisch. Durch den Kochvorgang verändern die Sojabohnen ihre Farbe von leuchtend grün hin zu beige.

Die gereinigten Sojabohnen werden mit etwas Meersalz und Wasser in Dosen abgefüllt und zur Haltbarmachung erhitzt.

Traditionell als asiatische Vorspeise oder Snack, köstlich in Salaten, als Püree, in Suppen oder Eintöpfen.
