Astaxanthin – a protective colour of nature

ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica contain the natural dye astaxanthin. This is a carotenoid formed by the green alga Haematococcus pluvialis. Carotenoids are secondary plant substances that protect the plant cells from UV radiation and oxidation as they derive energy from the sunlight.

The green alga Haematococcus pluvialis with the red dye astaxanthin thus protects itself from the life-threatening effects of cold, lack of nutrients, dryness caused by heat as well as UV radiation. The red colouring of the micro-alga indicates changes in the environment.

The single-celled freshwater green alga is therefore able to survive up to 40 years without water and nutrients and then to regenerate itself again. Astaxanthin makes it resistant to extreme environmental changes.

Astaxanthin drops - vegan and in organic quality from Germany

Our bodies themselves do not produce astaxanthin. So it can make sense to take it through food or nutritional supplements such as ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica in order to benefit from the characteristics of this natural dye.

ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica are made in Germany. The algae come from strictly certified organic cultivation in the EU. To improve the bioavailability of astaxanthin, it is dissolved in drops of medium-chain triglycerides oil (MCT oil) in organic quality. Astaxanthin is fat-soluble.

Each bottle of ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica contains 30 ml.

Vegan and without the following additives

ORGANIC Astaxanthin Drops from Unimedica are, according to legal regulations, free of preservatives and still free of additives such as colouring, stabilisers and separating agents such as magnesium stearate; they are also GMO-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.

Pure astaxanthin
First of all, I'm really surprised at some of the reviews about the flavour. I drip the recommended 10 drops directly into my mouth every day and therefore have no problem with the colouring effect. That's where the drops belong and not on your trousers! Fresh curcuma root also stains and you can hardly get rid of it, but should you write a bad review because of that? Or is garlic useless because it has a strong odour? Do you also have to give it a bad rating? If you go to a restaurant and you don't like the food because you realise that you don't like oysters, for example, you can't blame the oysters and give the chef a bad review! I don't like haritaki, for example. It tastes like vomit to me. But that doesn't mean I can write a bad review! I don't mind the flavour of this astaxanthin, for example. And the effect is bombastic! I am now 52 years old on this planet and my skin feels as smooth as a baby's bum! The effect is so noticeable after just 2-3 weeks that you are totally fascinated by your own silky soft skin! So five stars for this valuable product which, thanks to its liquid drop form, does not contain any fillers or harmful capsule shells.

I originally ordered these drops for detoxification, as astaxanthin crosses the blood-brain barrier and can thus remove toxins that can accumulate in the brain (e.g. from vaccinations). I have been taking them for just under 4 months (between 12 and 6 mg). I have already noticed a slight improvement in my short-sightedness, but my astigmatism has not improved. What I noticed immediately, however, is that it is very good for my skin. It is much more radiant and plump, and even wrinkles have been smoothed out.

It's one of the most powerful anti-oxidants, but I agree with you about its consumption, it stains a lot and I don't know what to use it with or how to take it. Pure is impossible, even diluted in orange juice... it's awful. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thank you to the team for helping us with this.
