Organic ashwagandha root extract capsules from Unimedica contain what is currently the highest quality ashwagandha root extract – the branded raw material ashwagandha KSM-66®. It contains 5 % natural withanolides. This is a group of secondary plant substances containing approximately 300 chemical compounds.
The branded raw material KSM-66-Ashwagandha® is made solely from the entire ashwagandha root, true to the original Ayurvedic practice. No leaves or other plant parts and no additives are used. Therefore the full spectrum of secondary plant substances contained in the ashwagandha roots, especially the withanolides, is used.
Pure ashwagandha root extract from the home of Ayurveda
Ashwagandha is the Sanskrit term for the deadly nightshade Withania somnifera, also known as winter cherry or Indian ginseng. This ayurvedic medicinal plant has been used in India for thousands of years to heal various ailments.
The ashwagandha bushes, from which the extract for the organic ashwagandha root extract capsules from Unimedica is made, grow in India in strictly certified organic conditions. After harvesting the roots are gently processed in a special patented process to make the unique KSM-66-Ashwagandha®, which is then put into plant-based cellulose capsules. So this ashwagandha is easy and pleasant to take.
Each bottle of organic ashwagandha root extract from Unimedica contains 120 capsules. This is enough for 4 months.
