The algae oil capsules are free of impurities, flavouring, colouring, stabilisers and magnesium stearate. They are not genetically modified and are free of lactose, gluten and gelatine.

Ingredients

DHA- and EPA-rich oil from the microalga Schizochytrum sp., antioxidant: highly tocopherol-rich extracts, coating agent: (hydroxypropyl starch¹, humectant: vegetable glycerin, water)

I had already written a review of this product a few months ago and we are still very pleased with the positive results! At that time I reported red, dry patches of skin on my face which disappeared within 2 weeks and have not returned. Then there was my husband's flaky scalp, which also improved in the above-mentioned period and still does today. In the meantime, I have also noticed improved concentration and better sleep on my part... "and Omega 3" is a real inflammation killer! By taking it, we were able to effectively reduce a flare-up of my husband's sore throat caused by a cold!

smell extremely fishy
I have ordered these algae capsules here several times before, everything was fine, the capsules had a neutral odour and were well tolerated. The ones from the last order were completely different, I stored them sealed in the fridge until I needed to use them up. After opening, these capsules smelled extremely fishy and were very heavy on the stomach after taking them. I've taken them a few times now because of the price, but it just doesn't work, they are probably more harmful to health than beneficial. Next time I will order the fiach oil capsules that I ordered in between, they were great. It's a shame that you can't rely on the quality always being the same. You don't know beforehand what you're going to get in terms of quality.
