Propolis tincture cares for the skin with special natural active ingredients that bees use to protect themselves and their hive. For use in skin care, a tincture made from propolis extract dissolved in alcohol is often used. It can be easily dosed with the pipette and applied to the skin. The pipette is integrated into the bottle cap.

What exactly is propolis?
Propolis, like other bee products, has been valued since antiquity. Bees produce propolis, also called "bee glue", from resins of the buds and twigs of various trees and herbs. They build actual protective barriers from it. These serve to keep intruders away from the hive and to disinfect returning worker bees as they fly into the hive. In this way the bee colonies protect themselves from viruses, bacteria and fungal infections.
They also use it to seal their hive and to repair their home with the resin. Propolis contains polyphenols, numerous minerals and trace elements. The composition varies depending on the location of the hive. It is a pure natural product.
