The Lotus FONTANA® MINERAL AKTIV PiPremium filter cartridge impresses with its particularly pleasant taste. The minerals contained remain effective for up to three months before they are exhausted.

This high-quality 5-chamber filter cartridge for the Lotus FONTANA® water filters is designed so that each individual layer can develop its specific effect optimally. Similar to nature, the water flows slowly through the various mineral ceramics and thus has enough time to absorb the contained minerals and energies. The interplay of the carefully selected components forms the heart of the LOTUS VITA PiVitalis® water filter technology. To further enhance the positive filtering effect, magnetic fields generated by magnets integrated into each layer are also used.
The harmonious interaction of these high-quality components forms the core of the LOTUS VITA PiVitalis® technology.

Lotus FONTANA® - MINERAL AKTIV - PiPremium filter cartridge

1st chamber (high-performance activated carbon)

The first and largest chamber filters pharmaceuticals, pesticides, heavy metals and other contaminants. A potassium ion exchanger effectively reduces limescale and enriches the water with the "good-mood mineral" potassium.

2nd chamber (ceramic beads with quartz sand)

With bound calcium, the ceramic continuously enriches the water with small amounts of calcium. This makes the water taste milder and gives it a slightly alkaline character. Quartz sand, with its crystalline structure, represents both a crystal and a natural streambed. It is intended to remind the water of its original crystalline structure.

3rd chamber (tourmaline ceramic beads with mineral ceramic)

Stores ambient heat and emits far infrared waves (FIR) to its surroundings or into the water. Mineral ceramic contains traces of iron, magnesium, zinc, copper and selenium, which are released in trace amounts into the water.

4th chamber (alkaline mineral ceramic and mineral carbonate beads)

With bound calcium, it continuously enriches the water with small amounts of calcium,
filters the water similarly to activated carbon and reduces any remaining contaminants.
This makes the water taste milder and gives it a slightly alkaline character.

5th chamber (magnesium with alkaline mineral ceramic)

Pure magnesium is released into the water in small, very even amounts and has a strongly alkaline effect. Alkaline mineral ceramic serves as an ideal complement to the magnesium and gives the water an especially soft taste.

To intensify the positive effects of the filtration, LOTUS VITA uses magnetic fields generated by magnets contained in each individual layer.
